Desperate to find his way back to Norway, Sven makes a captive of a young nun named Mary, who helps him escape the island. Together the unlikely pair journey to the edge of the world and into the magical realm of the gods. The only question is what is real?

All roles available for the 2023 return of Stephen Gashler's GIDEON VERSUS THE GODS OF COOL, a 1980s rock opera playing at the Angelus Theatre in Spanish Fork. This mind-bending, musical adventure, based on the highly-rated Young Adult novel, packed with comedy and unforgettable tunes, premiered in 2022 as a concert and is back for its first full-scale production. Jocks, nerds, cheer leaders, goddesses, monsters, this hilarious, musical high school dramedy has got it all!

To audition, all you need to do is share a short video of you singing 16 bars of an upbeat musical theatre song. Rehearsals start in April, and performances are from June 12 - 24. $100 honorarium per role. Sign up today to get in on the fun!
