Great Hall Theatrical's Youth Theatre Workshop at the Angelus Theatre

Don’t let screen time and boredom rule your summer. Give your child the opportunity to learn valuable performing skills including playwriting, acting, public speaking, directing, teamwork, memorization, and more. Talented instructors will coach students to help them improve no matter what level they’re at.

This week-long summer camp for young actors, directors, and playwrights begins on Monday, but it's not too late to sign up! This particular workshop focuses on helping students create and perform 10 minute plays. Each student will be assigned to create and direct one 10 minute play. Each student will also act in other students' plays. Instructors will teach students about story structure, dialogue, character development, as well as directing and acting skills. Creating short plays helps students develop life skills including confidence, teamwork, and leadership. On Friday July 16th at 10:30 AM students will perform a concert of their short plays for family and friends.
